Make sure you are logged into your AAC Professional Account

Viewing Your Caseload

If you’re on the app:

1. Navigate to Settings

2. Select Manage Users

If you’re on web:

1. Select Manage Users from the Side Navigation Bar

or

1. Go to the Grid

2. Navigate to Settings

3. Select Manage Users

The user list displays each AAC User's name, email, a status (if applicable), and available actions.

For Students New to Flexspeak

To add a student who has never used Flexspeak before:

1. On the Manage Users page, click Add AAC User

2. Stay on the Create AAC User tab and fill out the form

3. Proceed with the set up flow or choose to set up later

The AAC user will need these details to log into their account on their own device.

You can also access the Add AAC User action from the Grid by clicking on the Profile Dropdown at the top left.

For Existing Flexspeak Users

To add a student who already has a Flexspeak account:

1. From the Add AAC User action, click Invite existing AAC User tab at the top

2. Enter the email that is associated with their Flexspeak account and Send Invitation

After inviting an AAC user, you should be able to find their profile in Users list on the Manage Users list marked as Pending Response.

If an existing Flexspeak user is invited, that account must accept the invitation before you can access their grid, assessments, and setup.

Access and Edit your AAC User’s Grid

There are two ways to access and edit a student's Flexspeak profile:

1. On the Grid, click the Profile Dropdown at the top left

2. Select the profile you would like to switch to

3. You are now viewing and can edit their grid and settings remotely

or

1. Navigate to the Manage Users page and select the Actions button on the right of a user’s profile.

2. Click Access User’s Grid from the Actions dropdown.

Other actions in the dropdown:

• View Assessments:
  • Create and distribute questionnaires, and review completed questionnaire history.

  • Grid Size assessment coming soon!

• Access User Setup:
  • Enter AAC User setup flow

AAC User Settings

Aside from being able to access and edit the AAC User’s grid, you will also be able to edit their grid settings.

Click the Settings Icon from the AAC User’s grid access to edit the following settings:

• Language & Voices

• Speech Rate

• Speak on Select

• AI Prediction

• Show Message Bar Images

• Auto-Return

• Grammar Column

• Theme

Any changes you make will be saved to the student's profile and will appear when they log in from any device.

Other Helpful Info

• If you create a new AAC User, you will automatically have access to their grid.

• If you invite an existing AAC User, you will have to wait for them to accept your invitation before receiving access to their grid.
