What Are Page Sets?

Page sets are collections of vocabulary tiles on your AAC grid. Each page set represents a complete vocabulary configuration that you can personalize for different users.

Managing Page Sets

Viewing Your Page Sets

To view and manage your page sets, navigate to Settings and select the Page Sets section. Here you'll see a list of all your available page sets with options to manage each one.

Switching Between Page Sets

You can switch between page sets from the settings menu. When you switch, your grid will update to display the vocabulary tiles from the selected page set.

Resetting Tiles

If you've made changes to a page set and want to start fresh, you can reset the tiles back to the default vocabulary.

How to Reset Tiles

  1. Go to Settings > Page Sets
  1. Find the page set you want to reset
  1. Select the Reset Tiles option
  1. Confirm the reset

Important: Resetting tiles will remove any custom words, folders, or customizations you've added to that page set. This action cannot be undone, so make sure you want to start over before confirming.

Translating Page Sets

When you duplicate or manage page sets, you can also translate the vocabulary into different languages. The translation functionality works with your configured languages and will translate tile labels and speech output for the entire page set.

Tips for Page Set Management

  • Start with a base set: Create one well-organized page set, then duplicate it for variations
  • Use different grid sizes for different access needs: Choose the largest grid size that the user can comfortably see and accurately select. Larger grids (i.e., more buttons per page) can reduce the need for navigation and help "future-proof" the system. However, the grid should remain physically and visually accessible for the user.
  • Label your page sets clearly: Give each page set a descriptive name so you can easily identify its purpose
  • Reset sparingly: Only reset tiles when you're sure you want to lose all customizations
