Personalizing vocabulary increases user motivation for AAC use. Add custom words or phrases to increase one’s access to meaningful language.
This feature currently requires internet connection.
- Navigate to a vocabulary page with at least one blank tile.
- Tap the Edit icon
to enter Edit Mode.
- Tap the + button on a blank tile to add a new word to that space.
- Select a type: button
or folder 
. Buttons speak when activated. Folders lead to a new page to store additional vocabulary.
- Type the new word in the first text box. If multiple languages are selected, the new word will be automatically translated into the other languages and synced to the same location across grids.
- [Optional] Tap Add an image to add a symbol, photo, or GIF to the new word. (See Add a symbol, photo, or GIF support page for guidance).
- Tap Save.
