Flexspeak partners with The Attainment Company so you can design overlays that match GoTalk mid-tech devices. Build the vocabulary in Studio, then export a PDF sized for the device layout.
Overview
- Templates include GoTalk 4+, GoTalk 9+, GoTalk 20+, and GoTalk Connect 9+ / 25+ / Scene.
- Create them from Create visual under Communication.
- Edit like any Studio visual, then Export for an overlay-style PDF.
- Use the same vocabulary on-screen in Play when you need a high-tech practice version.
Getting started
- Go to Flexspeak Studio dashboard.
- Select Create visual.
- Open Communication and select a GoTalk or GoTalk Connect template.
- Add words and symbols (manually or with Quick Add).
- Click Export and download the PDF for printing.
- Trim/print according to your device’s overlay instructions from Attainment.
Tips
- Match the template to the physical device your student uses so cell counts align.
- Keep messages short—mid-tech overlays work best with clear, high-frequency phrases.
- Translate overlays into the family’s language before you print.
