School library and Community in Studio

Browse, submit, and share templates with your school or the Flexspeak community

1 min read

Schools can share visuals inside an organization library. You can also browse community templates and submit your own for review when that option is available.

Overview

  • Browse templates / Community — Discover pre-built visuals to duplicate and customize.
  • School library — Organization library with submissions and, for staff, a review queue.
  • Publish from Share — Submit a visual to Community or your school library when enabled.
  • Submission statuses can include Pending, Published, or Rejected.

Browse and duplicate

  1. In Studio, open Browse templates or Community.
  1. Preview a template.
  1. Duplicate template (or equivalent) to add a copy you can edit.
  1. Customize vocabulary, symbols, and languages for your learners.

Publish to your school

  1. Open a visual you own.
  1. Click Share, then open the Publish tab if shown.
  1. Submit to your School library.
  1. Track the submission under My submissions.

Review queue (school staff)

If you have review permission:

  1. Open School library.
  1. Open the Review queue.
  1. Approve or reject submissions so they appear for your organization.

Tips

  • Duplicate before heavy edits so the shared original stays intact.
  • Avoid publishing materials that include private student names or photos.
  • GoTalk device layouts are also available directly from Create visual—you don’t need Community to start those.
