Studio Builder builds a set of communication and participation supports from one topic or lesson. It recommends Studio templates, helps you choose words, then creates editable visuals—not locked AI files.
Overview
- Start from Create visual → Get started, or open AI creation from Studio.
- Describe a lesson, story, interest, activity, or upload materials (including photos/PDFs where offered).
- Review recommended templates and word lists.
- Create the visuals, then edit them like any other Studio file.
Getting started
- In Studio, click Create visual.
- Click Get started on the banner: Turn any lesson or activity into visual supports.
- Describe the topic (for example, “fire station field trip”) and add optional context such as age or language when asked.
- Review the recommended supports (for example schedule, board, first-then, choice map).
- Curate the word list—remove or tweak items you don’t need.
- Create the visuals and open them in the editor to personalize.
What this is (and isn’t)
Studio Builder helps you decide which supports to prepare so learners can participate and communicate. It does not write lesson plans or replace your judgment. Everything it creates is a normal Studio visual you can edit, play, export, and share.
Tips
- If you already have lesson PDFs or goals in a Project, start AI creation from that project for more relevant suggestions.
- After creation, use Quick Add on individual boards for extra vocabulary.
- Remove templates you won’t use before creating—so your My visuals list stays tidy.
